CROSSROADS: From Ph.D. to Professor is a podcast project created and produced by Justin M. Carroll, a member of the American Indian Studies Graduate Student Consortium.
In October 2009, Justin recorded a Book Publishing Panel sponsored by Michigan State University’s American Indian Studies Program and MSU’s Library. The panel featured MSU faculty members Dr. Heather Howard, Dr. Susan Applegate Krouse, and Dr. Kimberli Lee, as well as Dr. Susan Lobo of the University of Arizona. These four scholars discussed their respective experiences and the processes involved with publishing their books, from start to finish.
The AISGSC would like to thank Dr. Heather Howard, Dr. Susan Applegate Krouse, and Dr. Kimberli Lee, as well as the MSU Library Staff and John D. Shaw of the G. Robert Vincent Voice Library for their participation and help with this podcast.
